f60mm micro older version.jpg

The first version of the AF-Micro Nikkor 60mm f2.8 and you know what I meant earlier on the previous page.

Current version

The current version.
The Nikon's feel is back.

The newer AF version of the Micro Nikkors enable 1:1 life size without any aid of accessories (the older manula version required an extension ring to achive that reproduction ratio. And another main and useful feature is, each of them comes with a focus limiter for more efficient AF operations. It incorporates other Nikon optical innovations like CRC, NIC. AS I said earlier, the focal length of 50-60mm is still the key weakness for a lens to work comfortably, especially on field works, unless you are on real high manification macro or copying photography in the studio. But they is no denial it is a lens of first rated performance optically - even as a standard lens for general usage.

Whatever I said: this lens is a great companion with this bellow for high magnification works.
